My co-worker alerted me to a sidebar in a article in New Scientist, which claimed

European folks, especially of Jewish descent, are more likely to get ulcerative colitis. Which is sometimes triggered by milk protein allergy. Then again, a large number of people who think they have lactose intolerance actually have milk protein allergy.
I am actually quite intrigued by this topic.

I'm just getting to the point where I'll chop up the leaves and add them to a soup. I'm not sure I'm ready for further celery experiences.
