I have never had so much food on a dayboard before! I am only sorry that I ate so much I didn't have room for desserts.

Thanks so much for coming and cooking for us, and for sponsoring a really interesting challenge.

See

That's the key to a good dayboard-- you don't offer as much of everything, but you offer a bunch of different dishes. :)

That looks amazing.

Where did you buy your pizzelles? I'm serving the traditional wine-and-wafers after feast in February, and the pizzelles at the grocery store make me cry they are so expensive. Have you ever made them?

How did people like the lentil puree?

Pizelles

I bought my pizelles at Price-Rite ($2.49 a box), but ALDI's had them also for $2.99. I've never made them. (I don't know if there's a Price-Rite near you, because their website disavows all knowledge of the store in PA where I bought the stuff! They need a new web person.)

I don't know how people felt about the lentils. I know a bunch appeared to get eaten, or chosen and then thrown away. I love that dish and it's usually quite cheap and vegetarian if not vegan so I don't worry about it. *wink*

Oh for an Aldi... there are no Aldi here and I miss it fiercely. No Price-Rite either.

Maybe I'll buy one. I can make someone sit and make pizzelles all day!!! I only need 150 or so... *laughing maniacally*
