Sometimes Causonbon'sBlog is just too Schuedenfreude for me, even though I suffer from the desire to crow over the current issues while having to remind myself that the economy will hit my family, too, more in the future. And I am, of course, terrified of that part. But here she gives this great quote:

That's so true in so many ways...

Agreed.... pretty much on all counts.

Well, I don't really want to crow, but there's a certain satisfaction in getting confirmation that one isn't in fact insane... sigh. And just because L's company is doing all right this year (knock wood!) doesn't mean they may not suffer in the future. There's a part of my brain that says, when we do things like get the wood stove, "yeah, better do that while we still have money".

Some things seem to be working out, like some people I know getting homes closer to their jobs or jobs closer to their homes.

I do like that quote.
