Describing the life of "Gudrid the Far Traveler" (a woman attested in the Icelandic documentation) by combining archeological information and information from the sagas.

May be promising for my Norse friends.

Thanks for the tip. I'll ask our library to order it. Oddly enough, we have a YA book calle Far Traveler by Rebecca Tingle that is set in 10th century Mercia.
