I actually have that on my couch from the library but I've not had a chance to read it yet. And I've got a lecture to prepare and a boat-load of papers to grade tonight so it won't happen then.

Thanks for the tip. I'll ask our library to order it. Oddly enough, we have a YA book calle Far Traveler by Rebecca Tingle that is set in 10th century Mercia.
