What has it got in its car?
Apparently, lots of people carry emergency reading in their car:
"In case of a reading emergency, pop the trunk..."

So, do you have something to read stashed in your car?

I prefer to read books in one go, so the length of the articles in magazines tends to suit my needs better.
Currently some 20 year old Gourmet, and a recent Wooden Boat.

But that's just me and no one should be surprised at that :-D

Otherwise, a bunch of ADC maps, Google Maps printouts, and the fascinating read of Owner's Manual... ;>

But there's a reason I carry a nice big bag--even a HC Harry Potter novel fits in it nicely! Along with a small hardcover journal, with shopping lists, books I want to read (so I don't get in a bookstore and become paralyzed for choice) and blank paper for sketching costuming ideas.

Travels with me wherever I go. Always in the van. When I finish that? Who knows.

Survey reveals a trashy tell all book about the House of Windsor, a book on "Birthing Naturally" (might come in handy pretty soon), and the Worst Fiction Novel Ever Written, "Forever and the Night" by Linda Lael Miller.
Must improve my trunk library before snowstorm season.
