Monday, I went out and bought a jug of burgundy for the mustards class, plus some brandy and vodka for another run of my anti-gas cordial. Didn't get to making the cordial last night, but I did start the super-simple clove tincture that sister_devora taught to me for cold sores and other mouth and throat soreness. Basically put 1 part cloves in a jar, add 6 parts vodka, and steep for at least 2 weeks. Very useful stuff in 1/2 teaspoon doses.
