Announcement

I've started a new Arts and Sciences Project.
I'm making a human being from documentably medieval materials via documentably medieval process.
Yes, I'm preggers.
Right now I should be between 11 and 12 weeks, and hopefully out of the major danger zone.
My due date is currently calculated to be February 28.
(It's too early to tell anything about gender-- I've been asked that a lot.)
I'll be scanning and posting the latest ultrasound for those who are interested -- and I don't mind if people aren't interested-- next week.
If I haven't called you to tell you, and you wonder why, I probably haven't got your phone number. :)
All the signs and symptoms have shown up in regular progression, they've done blood work and 2 ultrasounds, etc. Little bean-child is irritatingly picky about smells and what I can eat.
I've got recurring morning-afternoon-and-evening sickness, which they promise vaguely will probably go away.
And yes, I did autocrat SRWC while preggers. For a quiet private place to throw up at the Homestead, I recommend the side of the storage barn. There *is* no quiet, private place to throw up at Pennsic though.)

Date: 2008-08-11 04:03 pm (UTC)So, do you have evidence of your documentably period medieval practice? The judges might ask for it. :-)

Date: 2008-08-11 05:27 pm (UTC)I had 'all day sickness' as well... crackers are your best friend. Eat a little something every hour or two... I found that very beneficial.

Date: 2008-08-11 07:34 pm (UTC)Natal'ia our current Tanista (princess to be in 6 days) did enter both a paper on midwifery and her baby (w/documentation) as two separate entries at an A&S competition. Granted it was marked as two separate papers (one on midwifery and one on childbirth).

Date: 2008-08-11 07:56 pm (UTC)Best wishes, I can't wait to see how things go. When I was having my all day nausea the thing that made me happiest was slushies from Sonic. I don't know if you have Sonic's up in Yankee land - but I am pretty sure you have 7-11's. The sour icee/slushees were about the only thing that settled my stomach.
