Sheep?

I don't get it. I've raised sheep. Try to move 5 sheep in one direction, and they'll head off into 7 different directions. (Ok, goats are worse, because I swear to Ghod they levitate, and 5 goats will go in 10 or eleven directions). Apparently, in some places, sheep can be trained to follow the shepherd, but I've never experienced this. Cows, yes. You get cows going in one direction, and they'll go until they find an obstacle. Sheep are just contrary. So every time someone says 'sheep-like' behavior I really wonder...

I thought that goats were cleverer because "sheep must be driven, but goats can be led"?

Of course, where I come from, we spent our morning mass transit commutes arguing with large rats over who had more right to the subway seats, so WTH do *I* know?

LOL

All I can think of anymore about sheep is you flapping your skirts at them at Celtic classis to get them to go where they were supposed to go :)
