"The book of life begins in a garden... and ends with revelations"

One of the things I came face to face with this weekend is that when I'm regularly in the company (in person or electronically) of those who practice one of my arts, I do that art more.
So, if I want others who participate in the art/science of herbalism to do so more, my best tactic is to be out there doing it myself and talking about it, either electronically or in person.
So, I'll be writing more and posting more here, and on SCA-Herbalists, about my experiences and experiments. Of course, I'll have to be DOING more for that, too. Watch this space and nag me if you don't see more postings!

Tomorrow I will go to the lumberyard and purchase Trex ( plastic deck material ) and build a raised bed for my garden.

This is a big step for me.

I will appreciate incentive.

Good luck! Good time of year to do it. If money is at all tight, you can also build them with 2x2s as corner posts and 2x10 or 2x11 boards as the walls - very fast to set up, also. A PHD helps a lot. I assume you have a plan though.
