I've been using various herbs and veggies to color my hair for a while now, LOL. It's always fun seeing recipes escpeically older ones such as this. =P
Last night I was reading that you can use sage to put silver in your hair, which I thought sounded so fun! Only thing is when decided to stop doing it you'll have to be cautious because your hair might eventually get a greenish color to it if you wait too long to dye another way.
But heck for silver highlights, I'd take the chance. Worst case? Just dye it something else, LOL.
