I grew up reading Teresa Bloomingdale, Erma Bombeck, Shirley Leuth, Peg Bracken, Ann Combs- you name it. It made my teen years a lot more tantrum-free because I knew what parents thought of the sulking and whining and screaming. I was too embarrassed to go there!
