While the Society for Historical Archaeology site is not chock-full of materials of interest to those studying European pre-17th century culture, it is an amazing resource for the study of early European-American archaeology and material culture. In particular, the archives of the journal Historical Archaeology are online and searchable from 1967-2000 (look under Publications, Historical Archaeology and SHA online). There are some bibliographies and special publications here, as well as conservation standards and recommendations. (I found it when looking for recent publications on latrine studies.)
