as if knowing these things could save the world...
Today-- Harrisburg for the PaLA nom. committee meeting. This is my 4th or 5th year on the committee, and I've gotten good at tracking names. I still can't get into the turnoff for the office on the first try, though.. but anyway. At lunch, those who have been on the committee before are catching up on gossip, and ask me about my medieval re-enactment. I tell them about getting the A&S award. They are thrilled and ask more about the whole SCA thing. This is because they are librarians. :)
Sad stuff-- on the way back I stopped to see a friend I may never see again. Had dinner with him and his family. It was worth missing the cleaning time.
