I missed the Sunshine Family phase, although I had several hand-me-down Dawn dolls (http://collectdolls.about.com/library/weekly/aa091501aa.htm) from my cousins.
I think my favourites are still the Starr dolls from the early 80s-- I clearly remember how fascinating the embossed-on knickers were :D
