Menu challenge

Menu meme:
Maire challenged the cook's list with:
"Can you come up with a whole week's worth of menus (7 days, B/L/D, snacks optional), *just* with what you've got in your kitchen/pantry/garden/freezer out in the garage?"

So, here's mine for our Family of 4, with 1 picky eater. Of course this is cheating as I shop weekly and besides, I came home with lots of leftovers from Christopher's feast. Perhaps Sarah has some suggestions for more period stuff. The menus here aren't completely South-Beach safe either.

Garden Archaeology

Until comparatively recently, sources for research on gardening of the past were almost exclusively textual and pictoral. Descriptions from the past, depictions and plans, were what re-constructors had to work with. However, in the last 20 to 30 years, archaeology has taken its place as a way of knowing gardens of the past.
