More on Google Digitizing project

Ok, someone posted the press releases that are out from the various libraries involved in Google's digitizing project:

From the sound of it, they are using a technology that will allow for REALLY high-speed digitizing. This could be very, very good. Now, all they need is a Memex link-and-annotate structure-- they could sell subscriptions to it, maybe with a blog-type notes interface. That would, in my opinion, be a real research boon.
