Well... 1) I would never use this stuff for practical applications without cross checking in at least 3 sources. 2) what it IS good for is laying out what you see in period texts as notes, so you can read the period stuff and make connections. Sort of cliff's notes for apothecary practice, with a hefty side helping of background material.
